CastleGuard Diego has been on the show campaign trail since his excellent showing at the Nationals in April. In the hands of expert handler, Derek Matson, he surely shines. Battling it out all summer with his half sister, CastleGuard Nikki, for all the top honours this summer, Derek and Diego have proven they are a force to be reckoned with. Diego has been the only dog to consistently challenge Nikki in the ring; trading Best of Breed/Shows back and forth. People all over the world have sent me emails when they see Diego’s photos. He is truly an imposing corso of merit; bold, powerful and regal.
At the CCAA 2009 MidWest Regional, Diego took Best of Opposite Sex. Earning his final Regional victory win, sealing his ICCF Grand Championship. Congratulations to Alissia Verdoorn. Your baby is the bomb!!
